THE EQUIPMENT
I'm currently using a Nikon D90 DSLR which I'm extremely happy with. I also have the 70-300 VR ED, 55-200 VR, and 18-55 VR lenses. The D90 shoots 12 megapixel images at 4 fps and even has a movie mode.
I carry 1 16GB and 2 8GB cards around with me as well as a spare battery so I'm always ready.
This gives me a very large shooting capacity in JPG format, and quite an impressive capability in RAW format. I'm currently in the process of upgrading my lighting equipment. (flash, etc.)
As I mentioned before, the Nikon D90 also has a High Definition movie mode that allows me to take short DVD quality video clips. A nice feature for a Digital SLR. I truly love this camera.
